Originating from the Val Taleggio in Lombardy, this DOP cheese has been crafted since the 10th century. The supple, almost spreadable paste delivers gentle barnyard notes with a clean fruity finish that surprises and delights. ±200 g portion. Perfect on a cheese board with fresh figs and walnuts, melted on polenta or focaccia, used in risotto, or paired with a glass of Italian dessert wine like Vin Santo or a glass of Amarone della Valpolicella. Storage: refrigerate at 4–8°C. Consume within 2 weeks after opening. Bring to room temperature 30 minutes before serving.

Taleggio — fromage italien à pâte molle à croûte lavée à la saveur crémeuse, fruitée et légèrement acidulée, reconnaissable à sa croûte orange-rose. Originaire du Val Taleggio en Lombardie, ce DOP est élaboré depuis le Xe siècle. La pâte souple presque tartinable délivre des notes douces de ferme avec une finale fruitée propre qui surprend et ravit. Portion ±200 g. Parfait sur un plateau avec figues fraîches et noix, fondu sur polenta ou focaccia, dans un risotto, ou avec un Vin Santo italien ou un Amarone della Valpolicella. Conservation : 4–8°C.
